Pilgrimage Through

the Watchtower

Introduction

Pilgrimage Through the Watchtower is my personal story. It explains why I became involved with Jehovah's Witnesses, what life was like for me during my 7-year involvement with them, and why I left the organization in 1984.

Pilgrimage Through the Watchtower was first published in 1989 by Baker Book House, and is currently out of print.

I hope you find this on-line version of my story to be helpful either during your personal exodus from the Watchtower Society, or in furthering your understanding of and compassion for Jehovah's Witnesses.

"I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith."

Philippians 3:8, 9

Note: Now (Feb. 12, 2019), thanks to our friend Tom Dawes, a searchable PDF file of the complete, original book, as published by Baker Book House, is now available as a free download here. Thank you, Tom!
